Next week is our last week of agility and today she did SOOO well.

We had a 2 week break because the doggy day care place where the classes take place was full to capacity with dogs boarding due to spring break and Easter.

After a couple of weeks off, Abbey decided that she would run through both the tunnels and chutes. She hesitated in the last few weeks but today she was all about the tunnels! :D She went through them with lots of speed and enthusiasm. Woohoo!!

She is doing well with the teeter totter, jumps, weave poles, pause tables and now the tunnels and chutes.

Now I just have to figure out which agility class we are doing after this...!

Yay yay yay!

sometimes a break really lets agility things gel in their minds - COOL stuff :)
how did your instructor teach the weave poles (just curious)

Well at this point, we are still just very slowly walking through them... so not really doing them yet! :D What we've been doing thus far is just having a bunch of treats in our hand and leading the dog around the poles with our hand in front of their snout.

luring can get weaves - especially with a slower careful dog :)

good stuff you'll have to keep us posted over in obedience ... there are quite a few of us who enjoy agility over there ;)
