Gas was $2.95 this morning in Ann Arbor. :eek::eek::eek:: It was $2.09 at the end of April. WTF is going on? IS it the **** speculators again? :mad:

I have been amazed at how the price has jumped recently. It was 2.86 yesterday afternoon here in Battle Creek.

Yea, well I have to put Premium in mine! :eek:

They were saying yesterday that one of the reasons is that the refineries are only running at about 75% of capacity when they should be around 90%. Also, June is typically the time you see the spike in price.

Sure 10 or 15 cents, but not everyday!

No, everyday. If they're only running at 75% daily, then we will see increases almost daily. I'm not worried yet though, it's still less than the $4 per gallon I paid last year!

I just heard that part of it's a sign that the world market thinks that the economy is going to start getting better and demand is going to increase. So you can consider it a good thing everytime you pay $3.

Or they're just sticking it to us.

If you have a Sam's Club membership, they are always cheaper. We paid $2.63 the other day when everyone else was $2.79. That was at the Sam's Club on Carpenter and Michigan. :)

They are anticipating an uptick inconsumption in China.
