On National Geographic Channel tonight at 12pm Central time. It looks interesting. Here is what the description says:

"Profiling wolf-behavior expert Shaun Ellis and his unorthodox approach of researching wolves by living along side an adopted pack (2007) (Documentary) (60 min).

It looks really neat. im gunna be watching it. i thought I'd share so if anyone wants to watch it, they can.

I saw it, and some of his research looks promising (the pack call as repellant for wolves attacking livestock, for example) but I think we'll eventually see him getting hurt at some point. I get nervous for folks who forget that they weren't born with claws or sharp teeth, then go off and get really close to wild creatures. I mean, it's his life and all, he can do what he wants, but it still makes my butt-pucker when I think about the ouchies he might get.

lol yea really. I was kinda grossed out when he took a deer carcass, took the liver out, cooked it, put it back in the deer, and then took the liver back out and ate it in front of the other wolves as a sign of dominance. I was like  (shudders). I dunno if I agree with him or not, but Sam and I both love wolves, and it was an interesting documentary.

I nearly choked laughing at the 'stinky suit'. Holy chit, that's a guy who's really into his work. Blech. :p
