Kona's obedience competitions. We showed today in Harrisburg and had 2 Q's in the 180's. We will train some at home to keep his skills up but won't enter again until Oct and have his "swan song" at Mid-Jersey. Plan on doing more field training with him (and Bo) and enter hunt tests in the fall. I hope to have Bo ready for the novice ring in late Nov. I will enter Kona in Veterans and Rally Advanced B for fun. Might even try some tracking.

It's always so hard to retire a team member! What a good boy he is! Kona being able to come back from his knee surgery and finishing his CDX, UD, UDX and competing at the All-Star is outstanding! He has had a wonderful career. I know we always dread those decisions. He still has veterans and Rally as you said and possibly some tracking and field work. Best of success with Bo!

I will take Kona along to as many shows as he is allowed or entered. He is not high maintenance at shows.

I hear ya. Magnum travels with us as well. You don't ever hear a peep out of her at shows, she's so good.
