LOL, no, I'm not nuts, ever since I got apollo he has always insisted on "holding my hand" during our walks (what a gentleman! lol). What he does is he holds my hand with his mouth as we walk, no chewing etc, just gently holds my hand lol. Anyone else's doggy do this? Or do I just have a one in a million labradork?

Aidan does this also...we have started to discourage the hand, for fear that he might do it to a small child or someone who doesn't like it...although he only does it with me and my son so far...so he has now substituted your sleeve or the bottom of your shirt.
And he gently escorts you to where he thinks youre going or to where he wants you to go ie: treat jar, refrigerator, his food bowl, the door to outside.,
I think it's sweet also and had a hard time telling him no, not to do it.
We also started saying the word "take" when he would do this. And he will now take anything you put out to him and hold it.

Same here...he doesn't do it with my DH. Start telling him take when he does it...and youv'e added a new command to your book of tricks. Especially, if you ever want him to do therapy work...take is an important one.

It was Bob PR who told me to encourage any behaviors he "offers" up like that.
