I have not left this house since last Wednesday - I have some sort of flu - maybe swine - maybe not. Just miserable. On top of me being sick - my husband got sick with the same thing on the same day - so it's every man for themselves here.

Started to feel a little bit better today and decided to try to do a little laundry. So - I start down the stairs to the basement with a full basket and slip, falling most of the way to the bottom. And I just completely lost it. Sat there on the stairs screaming and crying. Quite disproportionate to the actual damage by far.

No serious injury - bruised tailbone, bruises on my back and both forearms are skinned. Smacked my head but no knots or headache. It does hurt to sit down - and I still feel pretty lousy from whatever my illness is.

And I am supposed to fly to Chicago on Wednesday. Whine!

So sorry, hope your feeling better real soon! Sometimes a good cry whether proportionate or not, is just needed! Hang in there!

I'm sorry. Be careful of your butt. I broke my tailbone once. VERY painful. If it doesn't start feeling better get yourself one of those inflatable donuts to sit on. It's about all you can do for it.

Ditto. If the pain doesn't go away soon, see a doc and have it x-rayed. I'm so sorry you have that on top of the flu, how totally miserable.
