Our regular weekly recycling won't pick them up.

Does anyone know anything about these:

It doesn't say you can leave phone books, but it doesn't say you can't either.

I have about 6 years of old phone books in my garage, I'm getting tired of looking at them.

(I forgot to bring my recycling company's phone number today or I'd just call them.)

I never heard of refusing to recycle a phone book !!!! I suppose you can rip out few pages a week and put them in with the regular paper recycles. Of course you will gain a new phone book every year before you could recycle one.

Very odd!

I gave up on recycling them and now throw them in the trash, our recycle guys will not take them either.

Guy was delivering them the other day, told him to keep it. Most of the time Google.com is faster than the phone book.

There are three local phone companies in our town. We get a phone book from each company, plus a yellow pages company book, and a gold pages company book. What the heck do I need 5 books every year for. They all have the same thing in them. What a waste of resources! It ticks me off.
