I think we talk about it being so extreme somewhere every year. This year it's just your turn. Batten down your hatches.
What's up with this CRAZY weather
First Ike makes it all the way to Kentucky causing major power outages for a few weeks which is unheard of. Then the ice storm a few weeks ago which again caused the power to a good part of the city to be out for days some up to 2 weeks (longer out of the city in some places). Now tomorrow they are calling for severe thunderstorms and 20-30mph winds with gusts up to 55mph. That's just crazy! I'm afraid what the damage will be if we actually get that because there are still so many trees that have huge limbs hanging up in the trees that have not been taken care of and there are a lot of big piles of debris from the ice storm piled by the roads waiting for the city to pick them up. Is it just me or does the weather the last year just seem like it's been really extreme

For us the strange temps are boggling..
It went up 45 degrees celsius in 2 days last week.. Thursday it was -40 and Saturday it was +5.

Want to take bets on how long the electricity stays on with all those loose branches still in the trees?
I'm thinking about sending DH to get a generator tonight...lol I'm not thinking the odds are very good if we get the winds they are talking about.
