I've never gotten that. More importantly, why is it needed? Why can't you just ignore someone without needing a feature to do it?

I really don't get it. How does it work?

What Lindsay said. I've got one idiot on my ignore list. When you come across their posts in a thread, you get this message:

This message is hidden because ****** is on your ignore list

It saves a lot of arguments because if you can't read the BS they post, you don't have to waste your time arguing with them.
