What Does Your Lab Allow Only You to Do?

Let you, and only you do certain things? Since we have had several threads about why we chose a Lab, names, etc. I thought it might be fun to start a thread like this.

Tal will only let me turn him on his back and wipe his face. He will also only let me pet him on his head and I am the only one he will lick on the chin.

Others have tried to do these things and he will just turn his head away or walk away. In either case, he seems more annoyed that others try and do these things. Whe I do them tho, he just calmly lets me and most times gives a wag or two of his tail in response.

Theo lets pretty much anybody do pretty much anything to him. He's really patient.

So far, I'd have to say that about Rowan. Although I am sure with age .. this may change :

Summer will only let me touch her ears, she cries if someone else does, she doesn't like the tips of her ears touched except if I do it.

Merlot & Zoey love ALL humans and anybody can do anything they want to them. But they will only kiss you on the second date! They have to meet you more than just once before they will lick you, that's the truth from what I have observed so far.

Hmm, this is a tough one as they aren't oo picky about who does what to them. However, I did come up with one thing - I am the only one they come into the bathroom with...............

Murray is not a touchy feely dog. He doesn't like to be petted or hugged. I'm the only one priviledged enough to be able to do either. ;D

This is pretty much Zoe. She will tolerate others though, but only for a short time, and then she'll up and walk away.

...and also, only I can dremel her nails, put drops in her ear and ointment on her paws

Sammi is pretty easy going to, pretty much loves everyone, so everyone can get lots of licks if they want them

. The only thing she is particular about is letting someone clean her paws when she comes inside. I think because she knows mom means business, and dad is the easy one!

Hmm, Thor lets anyone do whatever they want to him, but I'm the only one he really likes to hold his mouth/muzzle shut. Sometimes when I take him to the vet, he's all excited and panting and can't get a really good listen to his heart, so they have to hold his mouth shut, but he doesn't like it when they do it!

Gee, I wish I had someone that wanted to do something (like clip their nails, etc.)

Really the only thing that Moose allows only me to do and that is take something of value away from him. If he gets food, or a sock he will make a game of it for everyone else. All I have to do is say "drop it" and he does.
