My MIL talked to hubby las night and told him that she has cancer. It is B cell lymphoma and she has a large mass on her right shoulder. She's meeting with doctors later this week to discuss treatment. She's a tough tough lady, but she is almost 70. And her body has been through so much with numerous knee replacements and other surgeries...I am so worried. Hubby is being very stoic about the whole thing. I don't know how my FIL is doing, but I'm sure he is very upset.

I fear we have a long summer ahead of us...

So sorry to hear this. You MIL and all your family will have my continued prayers.
You might want to have her contact the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They have a wonderful program to support patients. They will provide free wigs to those who have lost their hair due to chemo, they pay mileage if she has to travel out of her area for treatment, and lots of good support information.
