So, Rogie threw up three days in a row last week. We went to the vet Saturday morning. Vet thinks it was the food change (we changed from Potato and Duck to EVO during the food scare). Vet said that Rogie might be burning through the EVO faster (since all protein) and that he's getting a sour stomach by the end of the day (all of the vomiting seemed to be done later in the day and was just bile). They x-rayed him to make sure no blockage or anything in his stomach and he was clear. His urine PH was a bit high though (blood work fine), so now on amoxicillin. Also taking a little Pepcid and we are switching back to the Potato and Duck. So far, no more throwing up. We go back next Friday for a recheck of the urine. Hopefully it was all just related to diet!

Poor Rogie. Glad to hear it's not an obstruction or something else serious. I hope his tummy feels better soon.

It sounds like he was having empty-tummy problems and just needed another feeding later in the day. How often do you feed him and at what times? If Shadow went longer than 10 hours without eating, she would throw up bile. That's why we got the auto-feeder to give her lunch, then gave her green beans before bed.

Emma used to do this to us too....we had to start giving her those really big Milk Bones at night to hold her over until morning.

I'm so glad it wasn't something serious and you were able to get it checked out quickly.
