*shudder*

My SIL's sister and I took Henery and Riley to a provincial park this afternoon for some hiking. The boys had a blast... the trail wandered through woods and meadows, with tons of that long grass that they both love to snack on. The only other thing that would have made it perfect would have been a swimming hole, but for a dry hike, it was pretty good!

We got home, and Henery is lounging on his bed in the kitchen. I glanced over at him and thought he had the most biggest eye goober. I tried to brush it off but it was stuck. It wasn't eye goober, it was TICK!!! Eeeeeeeewwwwwww!! Right near his EYE!!

I pulled it off. Thinking about it still makes my skin crawl!! *shudder*

Eeeeee! OMG, on his eye!

Angus has only had one this year so far.

I often wonder about Simon. I mean, on a yellow dog they're pretty easy to spot. It would have to be huge for me to notice it on Simon. :-\

Eeeew!! EEEEEWWW!! Your head, Tatyana?? Yikes!!

It's soooo much easier on a yellow dog!! I called my SIL's sister to have her check Riley, who is chocolate and has the thickest, densest fur. She was not looking forward to that!

I had one crawling on my arm at church this morning  Have pulled several off the dog despite Frontline and 3 or 4 attached to me. Lots of ticks on our neck of the woods. I feel your pain.

Yuck!! They are so much easier to see on a yellow lab. I comb my girls, both black, after we have been out in the woods. I hate those things. ::)

That's interesting -- as I just pulled one off Misty's eyelid yesterday. I have her on Frontline Plus -- in fact, I just applied it May 1 (not even 2 weeks ago). What's up with that? That stuff should work better than that, shouldn't it?

Poor Henery and all you other folks w/tick issues! Sucks.

Once we had a doggie party here, and the next day I found 2 ticks in our home! One was on the wall and the other was on our runner. :-\

Felicia, was it the grey one or the brown one?
