I can't get it to connect to my wifi or come up on my computer as a drive so I can transfer my music over.

There is no driver with it. My iTunes is the newest version. I don't see any way to put my music from my other iPod on this one and it won't accept my wifi info.

I'm frustrated and about to throw it out the window into the piles of snow.

Okay so you have music on your other iPod that's not on your computer? there is a way around it, but you can't directly move music from one iPod to another. You have you get the music from your old one onto your computer and then transfer it to your new one. Its a PITA but it is possible.

What happens when you plug your iPod into your computer? Does it show the little battery thing or does it say "do not connect"? Does your other iPod hook up fine w/ your iTunes?

I have my music backed up on my EHD. The other iPod was made into a drive on the computer so I could save the music by copying and pasting. This one doesn't show up on my computer as a drive. I don't see the option to make it drive like the other had either.

I have all my music backed up from my Nano. It's on my external hard drive. How do I get it on the new Touch without having to do it one song at a time? I figured when I bought this that I could just copy and paste like I would do on any other drive on the computer, but I don't see an option to make the Touch a drive like I can on the Nano so I can do this.

Does your computer recognize it in iTunes? If it does, it should come up with the option to make it a drive.. Have you tried reformatting it for shits and giggles? Sometimes that solves problems.

For the WiFi thing I found some different articles. Dunno if they would help or not.

It's all saved from the other iPod on the EHD only. I don't keep anything in iTunes b/c I delete the music off my regular hard drive once it's put on the iPod.

I downloaded the demo version Eric and it won't put them in the playlists like I have them. I was hoping to just c & p from the EHD to the Touch like I did the Nano when I deleted my playlists by mistake.
