I'm so wearing capris or shorts and a sleeveless top to work... I'm boiling here!

We are having a heat wave here in Wisconsin (mentioned in my other thread) and since this is the week between spring finals and summer semester... the university's heating/cooling systems are shut off. ...

so no AC

it's 81 degrees in the office right now...

Everything is sticky... so gross.

Let's switch! Even though it's 80 here, my un-air conditioned apartment is a frigid 69 degrees. I even opened all the windows trying to warm it up - no go. I'm always cold!

Dontcha just love it when they do stuff like that. Same way here. We are in between and they have not turned the A/C on yet.
Hope they get it turned on for you guys. It is a really miserable feeling to try and get your work done under those conditions! If they say anything about your attire tomorrow, just tell them you were unaware that a sauna was one of the ammenities of your building..lol

They just added capris to our dress code starting tomorrow. They banned dresses and skirts as people couldn't figure out what below the knee means.

My boss has threatened us if anyone comes in wearing any that are shorter than calf length she is sending us home to change as she loves to wear them and won't tolerate any one blowing it.

Hope it cools down. I know we had been around 107 for over a week. It should be around 93F right now. Today it is down to 98 and it feels like we are having a cooling trend. But at least no one would think about no A/C here.

We had some 80 degrees days and I loved every min. of it! Yesterday we were back in the 60's and I was freezing. The thing I hate is when its beautiful and hot outside and go to work and freeze because of the AC, and come home and DH has the AC turned up here! I just go set on the deck and enjoy every minute of the heat!
