Went to see the doc again this morning. He's not happy that the swelling isn't going away. The bruising is to be expected because all the blood has to go somewhere, so it's going with the fluid into my lower leg and foot. He said that sitting at a desk, even with the foot propped on a box, is not good as it still allows the fluid to flow down and pool. They did an ultrasound to measure the blood flow and make sure there are no blood clots - that hurt like a summabitch! Pressing hard on bruised, swollen flesh is not a good thing. No clots, though, thank God.

Anyway, doc says I have to keep it elevated (preferably above my heart), so I have to stay off work for a week and then go back so he can check it again. He said if the LCL is torn, they most likely would not do anything for it, but let it heal on it's own. Since I can bear weight on and straighten and slightly flex the knee, he's sure there is no damage inside the joint. Thank You, God! So, I be home for the next week.

I really hope you feel better soon, I hit my knee twice really, really hard, definitely not as bad as you did and it took a very long time to heal, I think that area can take longer. Rest up as much as possible :(

I wish I did have a laptop. No, I'll be watching lots of movies, playing Wii games, and reading. I've been bumming that I can't do Wii fit, I had such a good start on it and now I have no idea when I'll be able to get back to it.
