Rocky is going to be tested to become a therapy dog next Friday. I am really unsure if he will pass or not...and VERY VERY nervous. It is all last minute, I applied two weeks ago and they just HAPPEN to have a test June 1 and then they just HAPPEN to have an empty spot (the next test is in the fall).

Any words of wisdom?

we definitely needs lots of good thoughts - Rocky needs to be on his best behavior...though even then, I don't want to pass because it was "just a good day" since we'll be visiting people if we pass!!

Good luck and just try not to pass your feelings onto Rocky. If he really isn't ready then it is okay to wait - like you said you will really be visiting people and you want to make sure he is ready. But the test will help decide that as well.

I will see how things go over the weekend (no one is at the office over the weekend anyway). If I still have this many doubts on Sunday I will call very early Monday am and let them know we are not ready. honestly, I would probably just go for the hell of it (it's not a one time only test, you can go back later on) but i need a ride from my brother and I feel bad about making him take at least 2 hrs out of his friday evening (he was very good about saying yes right away and even asked if they could watch!)

At the moment my worry is that he's on and off. he can be great 75% of the time but some days he's just abit wacko

And if you don't pass, just figure it wasn't meant to be for now and re-take it in the fall. But, I bet you will pass :laugh:

i know believe Rocky could pass (though it's certainly not a given). I need to relax myself now and just go with the flow

The only worry I have about failing is that my brother will have gone out of his way for nothing.
