Yesterday I saw numerous flocks of geese heading north.

Skunk carcasses are dotting the highways (they move around and mate in spring) and Puff and I sometimes see (and much more often smell) them on our early morning walks in the nature preserve.

And my daffodils out front have shoots about 8"/20 cm. high.

It's about 70 F/ 21 Celsius this afternoon.

Thank God! I love it when the geese and ducks return. We have a big pond and have baby geese and ducks every spring. They are so much fun to watch. My pet ducks will be glad when the pond thaws too (right now they stay in their house or waddle around on the ice). They are much happier when it is warm.

Bob, the geese made it to Lincoln today, I'm guessing they were snows and blues. Also my mail-box is covered with maple syrup.:p
