Hi, I bought a package of that shredded soy cheese, (looks like shredded cheddar), for my birds, would some of that once a week be ok for Dakota??

That site is information from a licensed, practicing veterinarian who is selling nothing, rather trying to give away his knowledge, research, and experience.
I pretty much practice what he is 'preaching', both for myself and for my dog.

So I have to say no. I would not give it to mydog.
Soy is not a 'natural' protein for a canine.

Did your birds like the 'soy cheese'?
