Sophie seemed fine all day. She played hard and was normal. This evening she woke from a nap and has seemed what I can only describe as kind of wobbly-shaky. She wobbles her head just slightly. Like a weak old person kind of. A few minutes ago she heaved a few times and finally threw up some long grassy weeds. Not too much, but a yucky wad. She has never been sick, and I am scared. I am watching her closely. Any sign of a seizure or anything I will call the emergency vet. No sleep for me tonight. Please pray for my girl, mama's scared....

Hopefully it was eating the grass that got her tummy feeling icky. Keep an eye out for her not drinking water (or signs of dehydration) and if she stops eating. I don't know where she sleeps, but when my pup is feeling icky I'll have her sleep on the bed with me (instead of crate) so I can be aware of how she's doing overnight.

I'd also suggest feeding her boiled chicken/rice or scrambled egg instead of kibble until her tummy settles.

She sleeps with us all the time. She's allergic to chicken. I'll call the vet as soon as the open. It'll be a long night, with me watching her like a hawk. I noticed awhile ago she leaked a little tiny amount of poopy water, and her anus looked open. It is constricted now. She got up and tried to play and just staggered....scary...

Poor thing, I hope she will be okay, sending good thoughts from here. The wobbly part would worry me most, make sure you gate off stairs so she doesn't fall down & hurt herself. Did you see where she ate the grass from? I'm wondering if the grass had been treated with a chemical? Hoping you have an uneventful night & she's right as rain in the morning. Keep us posted!

It was more like weeds, there was some stems. It was from our fenced yard, so no chemicals. I worry about the staggering too. She will be fine one minute then kind of wobble and stagger. She was fine all day, then woke up like this.

Good thoughts she is o.k. Erns gets very wobbly and shaky when his gut is upset. I used to think it was his hips until the vet told me if their gut is upset the discomfort can make their back legs wobbly and they have trouble getting up.

Hope she is o.k. and just something she has eaten.

Thanks Chris. I am worried. She might have eaten something outside. I know she ate some weeds. So, the vets says if they have a sick stomach it cane make them wobbly? The first thing we noticed is she was just every so gently rocking her head, and when she stood up it was slight, but she was kind of shakey, but it wasn't pronounced. She did go in the yard and tried to play. It was then that she came in and staggered once that was almost like a drunk person. She only heaved 2 or 3 times, up-chucked the weeds and stems and hasn't done it since. Do you think it could be constipation? She goes out, but to tell you the truth, I haven't noticed. We will be watching her in the morning. Like I said, she leaked a couple drops of poo water. She's all out of whack and it happened so suddenly. If she's not 100% in the morning, I'm taking her to the vet. I have been saying plenty of doggy-prayers.

All dogs are different and you know her best so if you are worried call the vet or E vet. I would call the vet if she gets any worse ot breathing slow or rapid, or gets very wobbly. Do you think she could have got into something outside. Do you have a shed or anything she could get anything.

Do you think it could be constipation. Has she had trouble going.
Good thoughts coming. I know all too well those all nighters.

ETA. Do you have pepcid or what ever you guys call tummy antacid things. We use losec here if they have an upset gut.
