Sam has decided to go back to school and get his degree. He started college, but he never had to support to see it through to the end. He's now 29 (30 on June 2) and he's really inspired by seeing me go through my college courses. I'm 19 and currently in school majoring in Bio to apply to vet school. Sam had always wanted to be a vet, even before I met him. But now that he sees me pursuing it he's inspired to do it too! I'm thrilled. It makes me so happy to see him following his dreams. Right now we are gunna have to work out the legistics of how he will attend school and support himself, but he's happy as ever to have a new future ahead. Its not gunna be easy...as I'm sure many of you who returned to school later in life will know. But I am happy to see Sam taking an active role in his future. its never to late to puruse a long lost dream. I'm so psyched. He wants to be a wildlife vet and work with Zoo animals, I wanna be a ferret specialist and specialize in animal nutrition. So even though we are going towards the same carrer it will be two very different career paths. Just wanted to share the good news. Keep us in your thoughts as we try to figure out how sam will support himself while attending school.

I will always applaud people who want to get ahead in life. Kudos to both you and Sam. One is never too old. My aunt got her college degree when she was 50. (hey, but don't wait that long...you dreams are calling you)
