I won our biggest loser contest at work!!

10 weeks
10% of my starting weight lost
$218 prize!!


It would have been more if some people had not dropped out but I'm psyched!! I am going pants shopping this weekend!!


(yah yah I know I still have another 10 lbs. to go)

Thanks everyone!

Wow! Congratulations! How did you do it?
Pretty much it was an eat less, move more plan.

I really enjoy bread, cheese, bread, sweets, bread and sitting on the sofa watching TV.

I cut back to 1300 (mostly nutritious) calories per day spread over 4 small meals and two snacks. That wasn't too tough since I like most foods that are good for me. I still eat the [bad] things I like, just less often and less of it.

I also have been doing 30-60 minutes of pilates, cardio, and strength videos or a combo.

Now that the weather is starting to get nicer (well sort of) I can add walking back in. I love walking outside, but not so much in the cold or snow.

I kind of wish the contest was still going on though because I liked the support group, etc.

Congrats!! What an accomplishment :D

If you like the support group perhaps you would like Weight Watchers? My best friend does it and really likes going to the meetings - and she says it holds her more accountable when she has to go talk about it and weigh in :)
