Hmm... You always take good pictures Linda, but I think the light is causing some problems casting shadows and whatnot.
I'd try a relatively bright cloudy day (thin cloud cover but enough to avoid shadow casting) because I think that will let you get a good balance of the two colors.
SO tough to take pics of blacks and yellows together!
