Here is a photo of my poor baby's incision - it extends another three or four inches between her belly folds, almost all the way to her hoohoo. The vet is VERY pleased at how well she is doing, especially since he took almost four pounds of spleen and tumor out of her belly. She is very happy to be home. When they let her in the exam room with Bill and I, she was so happy she was squeaking - a sound I've never heard her make before. It was so cute. :D

OMG Jackie, I completely missed what happened with Shadow!!! :( Four pounds of spleen and tumor?! Looks like the same incision my Tango had when his spleen was removed.

I need to go find the other post. I'm so sorry, I completely missed it.
I hope she recovers very quickly!!

It's amazing how quickly they'll bounce back from major surgery. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Shadow...I do so hope her results are positive.
