So we did pass the CGC, but we are still having some separation issues.
We went to our first Agility class Monday night, and when I left him with the instructor to walk around the other side of the chute Bogey went nuts. Whining, lunging for me.
I think he was a bit skittish because it was a different building for this class, new dogs....that sort of thing. Over-stimulation.
So how do I make it easier for him? I want him to have fun at these classes, its the whole purpose. If he likes it I plan on competing too. But I dont want to watch him do that everytime I walk away. I dont want to cause un-needed stress for him.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!
