Hi, we had our new pup for three weeks and now considering getting a second pup to go with him. A female. Ive had labs off and on during my life but now im wanting to start running the hunt test. Just trying to decide if it will be to much to handle two pups at a time.
Beau has been wonderful house trained from the get go. Anybody have any thoughts?

i experienced 2 pups/labs at the same time for a short period of time last year, had my 11.5 black lab and brought in a 9mo chocolate lab (both females), the best thing i have done. it does add a bit work - more food, more cleaning, more toys... but the fun, the playfulness and the care for each other is so good. unfortunately, we lost our older one last June, and since we had only Mocha. now we are bringing a new pup next week, that will be 8 wo. looking forward to the interaction, fun, teaching each other and expanded family.
i highly recommend bringing another pup, especially if same breed.
