Can't wait to see pictures of the neat and trimmed Scamp. I'm sure he's a handsome boy.

His groomer has gotten WAY too expensive for just a trim so I tried to shorten his face fur and ears a little bit last night. Um... it's not too bad. 
At least I can see his eyes now and his ears aren't dragging through the water bowl.
It's clearly going to take a lot of practice, though.
