I know I havent posted here in awhile. Just been really busy lately. But I figured I would come here and see if Sawyer could get somes "safe neuter" vibes from his Lab pals.

I took him into the clinic at 7:30 this morning. Of course I was all sad and worried dropping him off. And of course his butthead self didn't even think twice about following the vet tech to the back :p.

Im sure he will be fine. I just worry because its his first time being "put under" and that always makes me nervous.

So yeah vibes for my sanity and for fast healing for Sawyer would be great.:D

Poor Sawyer is so out of it. He loved his ride home but once the cone when on he didn't want to move. He learned to walk pretty quick. But then he sat next to me and his eyes got heavy, heavy, heavier lol until he sunk down and fell asleep.

The cats and Maggie May have been having a sniff fest with him. And Mags keeps pacing and crying. I know its because his ecollar scares her and he doesent smell the same.

Anyways here is Sawyer home from getting neutered

Right after I put his ecollar on

Alittle dazed and confused

And one sleepy doped up pup

Good thoughts. Bo and Gus both did great, and the biggest hassle was trying to keep them "quiet" for the week after.
+1,000,000! I am glad he is doing well. I;ve been thru it twice and it wasn;t any easier with Barney. You still woryy about them.

But by far, once home, the hardest part came the next day after the anesthesia wore off, and they felt good. That part was actually harder with Barney. With Tal, there wasn't another dog to offer temptations to play. Since Tal was here, of course, he and Barney wanted to play so I had to be a little more viginelt for that reason!

Oh yeah. Even though still a bit dozey Sawyer has already tried to jump up on the couch three times. And then got one quickly halted case of the zoomies after Maggie May came inside. But so far so good.

After paying for his neuter I can't afford to buy him a soft ecollar. But I felt so bad though I took it off. Just for now. I figure as long as I can keep an eye on him it'll be okay. But I figure when we go to bed tonight I will put the cone back on. I don't know its up in the air lol.

Nekkid still doped up Sawyer
