or peeI prefer walking outside... the only downside I see is going too far... there is always the walk back... and if you hurt yourself or get a blister or whatever... you have to make it back home somehow.

Same here...I did do the walk/run/walk/run routine but that was short lived.I can walk for hours but run? no chance. I couldn't run to the end of my street and back without collapsing!
i'm not running unless something is chasing me.
