I've watched a couple of episodes also. Gritty slice of NY life and props to the crew who don't shy away from tough situations. Really thought it was nice when one of the crew drove from Long Island, NY to Maine to visit with a woman who adopted a rotweiller, he couldn't keep himself, and had to find a home for.
It is a great show. My cousin is an animal rights activist (I know, I know) and she and her husband live near them. She rescued a chicken and Rescue Ink was actually going to take it and rehome it, but they were shooting an episode when my cousin needed them to come (the chicken ended up at a rescue farm, anyhow). Very good show, and I guess the guys are just as they are on TV, in real life.
I think it is awesome. I watch it every time I can. I bet they can get stuff out of folks and get justice for the animals when thw law enforcement folks cannot simply because these guys are not cops. We need more folks out there like them.
