Oh well. The sun came out after all. So I did some yard cleanup and trimming, then decided to vacuum the house. Shoot! The belt snapped on the vac. Ran up to the vac store, got a new one, asked the guy how to put it on, he told me.

Got it on okay, but the roller won't... roll. I looked at the user manual online and even called the vac guy back. I'm putting it on right but can't figure out why the roller won't... roll. Vac guy said just to run it by the shop and he'd put it on for me.

That will have to wait for another day, I'm afraid. Right now I'm waiting on a call from my kitty's rescue person.

I just gotta learn to chill.

Nance, check to see if there might be some thread wound 'round the roller. I had that happen once, and that's all the problem was.

Otherwise, just chill!

I have an upright Hoover and those belts are so hard to put on. It can be so frustrating.
