Poor Teddie's belly

Not sure if they make it anymore, or if this would even work...but when we use to go camping, we use to lather up in Avons Skin So Soft. We use to put it on our Terrier too to keep the bugs away. It use to make our terrier very slick in coat, but it helped. Have you tried anything like that?
