How horrible. Bauer hasn't gotten as many since his first dose of Frontline for the season. I don't know if Frontline repels them, or if it is just a coincidence. He rolled over on his back at the baseball field the other day, and someone said, "Your dog is covered in flea bites!" I had to explain that they weren't flea bites, and that he had gotten all of them while we were there.

They got me on the back of the neck at the park yesterday.
So far, the boys have not had any red spots. Thank God!

My girls usually get those when we first start going to the beach, the vet suggested putting some Skin So Soft on them or some Adam's spray but they like to lick down there and I don't want them to lick it off!

Not sure if they make it anymore, or if this would even work...but when we use to go camping, we use to lather up in Avons Skin So Soft. We use to put it on our Terrier too to keep the bugs away. It use to make our terrier very slick in coat, but it helped. Have you tried anything like that?
