He had to go to the vet today for his Rabies shot. It's an ordeal. Since he had horrible adverse reactions to vaccines in the past, we pre-med him with Benadryl injectable and Dexamethazone. He got his Rabies shot and didn't have any adverse reaction, but he crashed at home and has slept the ENTIRE day.

And, he gained 6 lbs this year, which is not a good thing, so we will be switching to a low fat diet for pudgy boy.

Glad to hear Rems did good with his shot this year. All that excitement of going to the vet tuckered him out, so he's gots to recover.

Why go the low fat route? Why not just cut the portion back 25% and maybe supplement with stringbeans or carrots to replace the volume?

Glad he made out OK with his shots. It is so stressful when you know that have had reactions to vaccines in the past.

Good luck with the weight loss! Summer is always the best time to diet.

Hershey's Kisses, we do tons of green beans, we have cut back. His food barely fills the bottom of his bowl, it's about 1/2 cup. He needs lower fat. At 22% fat he's just packing on the weight with the Evo. Magnum has really gained as well, and she's less active, so I'm going to try the lowfat Wellness and see how it goes. Ruger is in good shape, but he runs at 200% all the time, he's a lot more hyper than the other two.
