Well, it seems that Blue has Degenerative Myelopathy He hasn't been able to get up on his back legs at all the last few days but we help him out when he goes to the toilet and in the house he gets around pretty well by dragging his legs behind him on the slippery laminate flooring.
On Friday he is going to have acupuncture and I will pick up some Chinese herbal remedies. He is still very bright, aware, happy, good appetite...........it just isn't his time yet. I'm not ready to let him go :'(
Here's my special old boy (16 1/2 years old )
No point to this post really, just wanted to share my beautiful, elderly gentleman.
Had thought about wheels but he gets around really quite well as he is. He has bad arthritis as well so, yes, he does have quite a bit of pain but also on daily Metacam and monthly Cartophen injections.
