I just saw on the news that they are now recalling ALL peanut butter products from that plant EVER made. Dead rodents and bird feathers or something in a crawl space above the production line.. Nasty!

None of the national name brand peanut butters (Jif, Skippy, Peter Pan, etc.) got their peanuts from PC of A. Those ARE safe to eat. But otherwise, avoid.
