Pain in my abdomen
Ok so I have been having this pain in my upper left abdomen for about 2 weeks or so. It's a dull pain (feels like a fullness) and it shoots straight through and up to my shoulder blade. Any idea what you think this might be? I have a dr. appoint scheduled for Monday morning. My sister's guess is gall bladder.

Yea, gallbladder is on the right. But it is upper, and it does give out shooting pains, but for me it's through to the back.

I have no idea, Pam. I don't even know what's on the upper left side of the abdomen.

Do you have IBS. Is so you may have a loop in your bowel and have to take some antispasmodics. It just means the gas is backed up there. It hurts like the dickens, I know.
Abdomen or left chest? I would not wait for Monday but go to the ER. Left chest pain radiating to the shoulder area could be cardiac.
