BIL is in Buffalo, NY for his job. He slipped on ice walking out of his hotel, and he broke his ankle so bad that his foot was just flopping back and forth. He went to the ER, and he needs surgery with pins/plates/etc... They said he may be off of it for up to 6 months. :hurt:

His poor wife having to teach her kids (she's a kindergarten teacher), take care of him, and carry the twins too. She's got her work cut out for her the next few months.

I'm sure they'd appreciate the good thoughts for a quick recovery!

I feel his pain prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

I did that to my ankle as a teen in a ski accident (the tree won but as I had knocked myself out when I fell I was unaware of hitting the tree)

Good thoughts and prayers here - happend to a friend of mine, but it was summer and alcohol induced. Best thing his wife ever did was buy him a hand held urinal and a bucket to empty it in for where he sits when she's a work...just a suggestion!
