try the Lab Health and Nutrition section, this one is for RAW feeding (i.e. meats, organs, bones, etc) or prepackaged raw.
offhand, do not let the word "organic" make you believe it is a high value food. Make sure it is certified at the least and look at the ingredients. Organic wheat is still wheat (a filler in most foods not really needed). Organic is good but usually means not pesticides were used, not "high quality food".
What brand/food did they recommend? There are a few lines of organic dog foods?
