Vet says he is perfect. I think he is a bit thin. He weighs 27kilos.( About 56lbs I think.)
I took these pics before the car hit him.

Ignore the date I can't fix it.

yes I forgot to add he needs to be thinner for his H.D.

Goodness knows how much he has put on this week while I have been away. Eating Garrys roast, getting into the chook food again and lack of excersise for the last few weeks.

I pick him up Saturday after the vets visit.

Because of his HD it's better for him to be on the leaner side, so good job. one or two pounds would probably don't hurt, but not more. ;)

How is he doing now? I have been thinking about him.

He is just slightly slimmer than Bear. As other have said the lower weight is good for his hip issues.

I think he looks perfect :) My moms black lab I always thought looked to straggly, but if you can see there ribs but they are not protruding then they are perfect... thats what our vet says.. but our vet also says our dog is overweight even thought she is only about 60 lbs.. I think she is perfect too

Considering his HD, I think he looks pretty good weight-wise.
