OMG... LUCIEN IS HOME.

My cats...
About a year ago, Snickers disappeared outside. Although Snicks would go outside, he wouldn't wander far. He enjoyed sitting on the fence. Snicks was always at the door in the evening to come in. Well, one day he didn't. There had been an owl watching our house from a two story behind us. I now feel he may have fallen prey to the owl.

Maybe a little more than a month ago, Moo-Shu left. I don't know if he decided to become a loner cat at his ripe old age of 7 - 8 months old or if he fell prey to something. He was known for darting out and staying gone. His buddy Lucien however... was not like that. Lucien is pretty submissive and an overall skittish cat.

On Friday morn, I was doing yard work. Lucien was hanging out in the bushes around where I was working. Around 2:30 was the last time I saw him. I know the mower scared him, but the front door was open for him to go inside. He didn't. He has been missing since that afternoon. I have been scared that either he REALLY is not happy about Stara being here, he fell prey to something or he became a loner cat. His appt for bloodwork was yesterday evening to have him neutered on Thursday. I had to call and cancel.

Tonight/this morn, which ever you want to call it... I have strep and was not sleeping well. I got up at about 2:30 am. I went outside and thought I saw Lucien on the fence. I called for him, but the cat didn't come my way. I figured it must not have been him. At 5am, I heard a meow that sounded like it was coming from out back. I walked over to the door.... AND THERE WAS LUCIEN. OMG.... I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED. I want to wake all the kids and tell them the great news. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

NOW.... THAT CAT needs to be chained down until I can get his nads whacked.

Aww Shannee! That's wonderful! I'm so happy!
I wish I could have happy ending too. :(
I think it was the lawn mower that scared Buckwheat away too.
YAY! Welcome home Lucien!!
Aw, glad he's home, Shanna!!!! I've been wondering where you've been!! Strep?!? Holy crap, girl - you've had some bad sick germs in that house. Thinking of you -

He is. He did the same thing Lucien did.... the following day. Scoo is pretty upset about it.
Maybe Lu can give you the lowdown on Buckwheat? Glad he's back. Hope BW comes home soon, too. :(
I'm glad Lucien came home. Are you sure he hadn't been reading the appointments on your calendar and knew what was in store for him?

Your old cat, Cleo, used to go out with my SU when he took the dogs for a walk in the evening and one day she didn't return. After being missing for six days we thought we were never going to see her again but that night when my SU was coming home from walking the dogs he noticed something on next doors driveway. It was Cleo :D We think she must have had an argument with a car though because her leg was dangling off  She had it amputated the next day and lived for many more years.

Welcome home Lucien. Isn't it a nice feeling knowing where he is? My grey kitty was missing for 9 weeks and just one day she showed up. Cats are weird. :p
