More than normal I mean!

He's been walking around whining. So I said "What is it baby?" He runs to the back door. I take him out and he goes both pee and poop! Only his poop is really runny and was basically water at the end. I still gave him his poop treat and I was really happy because this was his first evening poop outside!!

He keeps running and whining around the house now. I took him back outside and he didn't even get off the steps. He whined more...took him back out he went down the stairs then came right back up and into the house..

Now he's whining again and walking around the house...the whines are getting more persistant. What is wrong with him?!?!

Update:
He was carrying a rawhide around in his mouth. I took it away and put it up on my desk. He quit whining and just sat there for a bit. Went and got a drink and came back to me, so I gave it back. He walked around whining again! I put it up. He hasn't whined since.

Very odd behavior!!

Rawhides can give them diarrhea, or they can bite off and swallow a piece that gets stuck. Check the rawhide to be sure none is missing, then keep it away from the dogs.

nope no chunks bitten off, I keep a really close eye on them when they have rawhides to chew on.

When I took him outside he would just come right back inside. I put the rawhide up on the fridge and he just went and laid down and went to sleep!!

Maybe it was too spicy for him and it was burning his mouth? He took some drinks after I took it away.

He's been fine all morning, rawhides up on the fridge still I think they'll stay up there.

PS. It's the stick rawhides without the knots on the end.

Fanny walks around the house whining when she gets a new toy. Particularly one that squeaks. Then after a while she forgets all about it!

Maybe it's because he has a bone and he is excited about it? As for the constant trips outside, our Shih Tzu Windsor, thinks that if he goes outside he gets a treat, so he stands on the step, waits a nano second, turns around and comes back in. then barks at whoever opens the door. No, he doesn't get a treat, but he keeps trying!

While rearranging he found a rawhide I had gotten for Lucky while she was in her crate and he did it again!!

Whine whine whine while its in his mouth.
Take it away he's fine!!

It's the chicken flavored ones...could it be too spicy or something for him?
