I found crack for horses today, I swear.

I bought a bag of timothy hay pellets and Gandy and Dixie actually slobbered the 2nd feeding, like big drooling dogs, they LOVE them.

Our local hay is really crappy, especially in the winter, so I like to get something additional to feed with it. I usually do the alfalfa cubes once a day (soaked in water) and today added a scoop of the timothy pellets.

I swear, my girls are so spoiled!!

Plus, you can't overfeed hay pellets! But only if they are 100% hay- we feed a forage extender grain that isn't 100% hay, it's a mixture of grain and hay. Our munchkins do awesome on it!

I think I fed too much to Dixie yesterday. Her afternoon feeding, she didn't finish it all. She finished it up later in the day though. They are 100% timothy hay. Very nice stuff too, the brand is Standlee.
