"tuh" is folksy. I am positive it is a conscious choice on his part.Good choice. Fine choice.
I just wish Mrs. Obama would remove the word "like" from her dialogues and Mr. Obama would not blemish his orations with George Bush's GODAWFUL word... "tuh" instead of the word "to".
But the dog choice is good!![]()
I thought that too! Way to speak eloquently!Good choice. Fine choice.

I'm imagining you sporting a bun and little half-glasses on a chain as you type these words.Good choice. Fine choice.

As long as he never, ever says nukuler, I am fine with a little folksiness on his part even though it is surely contrived.Sharon - yes... I suppose Obama's "tuh" to be "folksy", too. I like the way he and Michelle use the word "folks"... I can accept "tuh" in that context, I guess. I just wish it wasn't riding on Bush's lazy and somehow STUPID sounding "tuh".
