A woman on my facebook friends list, the wife of one of my husband's old co-workers, has a status update that reads "*insert name here*...got a new puppy"

Last spring these people gave away their sweet, black labradoodle, who they got as a puppy, because one of their friends' dogs bit their little girl, and they were afraid one day their dog would bite one of the kids.

Someone else's dog bites your kid, so you give away YOUR dog, who you have had since she was 8wks old, and is so sweet & gentle. Fine. Be a no-dog house, if you are skittish about the kids ever being bitten. Fine.

BUT... to go get another puppy, less than 6 months later??? WTF!? Not worried about biting anymore? I hope they take this one to obed right away so THEY can learn how to be good owners this time around.

I did, Amy. I recommended the school we took Angus to. But I just got a "thanks for the info", without asking where, how much, etc. Which translates to, "Thanks, but no thanks". They got a tiny dog this time, some small, shaggy, chihuahua mix. I guess they figure they have a less damaging bite? Who knows. Morons.
