Hi Sue, Sarah and Garth (whom I have met already - Garth that is)

Great to see you all here. I have a yellow (we call her blonde!) Lab, that's 10 years old.

Sue I know what you may be going thru with Mokha - well some of it anyway. When our Lab Ruby, was only 12 months old, she shredded her Cruitate Ligament in her hind knee. It took 6 months of rehabilitation and we had to chain her up (on a long chain) and have her enclosed along our verandah, so she couldn't get a good run up.

I remember talking to a guy from the Labrador Assoc. here in Aus and he told me to put her in a kennel and put a door on it, so she couldn't get out. Can you imagine putting a 12 months old Lab into a confined space for months Needless to say I ignored his advice.

Anyway we managed with lots of gentle walks on the lead around our acreage and she has never had another problem.

In fact, she is so idle these days, its hilarious to ever think that she was ever so boisterous. Id love to hear about your Labs too.

Great to meet you all
Terri
