when is the recall going to end? maybe we should think about producing more items in our country rather then overseas or is this a product that was produced in the states? more and more pet owners around here are making their own dog food because they know it will be safer.

The Kirkland canned IS NOT MADE BY DIAMOND.....the dry kibble IS!! The dry is not affected. People are going into panic mode ..... Just read your labels.....if you are not feeding rice protein concentrate, corn gluten or wheat gluten; you are more than likely safe!

The information is from a Lab Breeders forum...These people called the manufacturer to confirm.

The websites have not been updated yet, but the 800 #'s can confirm it.

I may be wrong but I dont think the Diamond canned contains any rice protein, corn or wheat gluten.
I think it has rice flour? Is that the same thing :-\ This is pretty confusing stuff.
