The attorney I have was hired & is being paid for by my auto insurance company. I have no issues with them denying his claim, I am just pissed that this ass is doing this. That the court has allowed it to drag on for so **** ass long. I mean really... the accident happened 4 years.zoezoe said:Yikes! I would turn it back on your insurance company. Insurance companies suck. They are all great until you need them for something and then they tighten the purse strings. Sorry; this is a real nightmare for ya, I'm sure.
My thoughts, too - the statute of limitations must be up soon so he's making a last-ditch effort to see what he can squeeze out of you.MidwestGirl said:Sounds like he is trying to get all he can before the statue of limitations runs out.
What a jackass!Lexis Mom said:What is mildly amusing about this, is what my attorney told me before my depo a year ago. This guy is not working, he is collecting disability from his employer for are you read for this... STRESS!!! He was an installer for the phone company... that sounds like such a stressful job! To me that screams shyster who is only looking for money!zoezoe said:Yikes! Technically the statute of limitations on this was up at the 2 year mark (February 2007). As long as he filed the complaint (which he did) before that 2 years expired, he was allowed to pursue this assinine claim.AmazonGold said:My thoughts, too - the statute of limitations must be up soon so he's making a last-ditch effort to see what he can squeeze out of you.MidwestGirl said:Sounds like he is trying to get all he can before the statue of limitations runs out.
