I was just doing a routine check on Chaos and noticed that he has a lumpy area on his lower chest/belly area but the top of it is like a sore that is dry and almost scabby. The lump itself just feels fatty. Of course, I will call his vet tomorrow and follow up. That's a given. However, I was hoping someone here could give me some insight into what it could be. He is a pretty active, rowdy boy and I could see him getting a "boo boo" but he is never out without me or playing without me so I would know, I think. I am wondering if it could be allergy related??? He eats Natural Balance/Evo Red meat.

yup it could be allergy related ...
it could also be an infected abscess from one of his boo boos

it could be a tumour or fatty lump as well

vet will be able to figure it out (hopefully quickly and cheaply)

hang in there - I know it's stressful
taking a cat to the vet this afternoon with a weird lump in fact ;)
