as you all probably know, I work at a different church now and it has got to be the best dang job in the world!!! The pastor is a dream to work for, great sense of humor, down to earth and a real good man with his congregation in his heart. So today I get a call from one of the members that I haven't met or talked to before and she told me that everyone is thrilled with me. That the transition from the retired secretary to me was seamless and that everyone that has met me has said how nice I am and easy to work with.:D I haven't heard anything pro or con so that was a nice way to start my week off. I'm not looking to brag here, just thought I'd share so those of you who didn't like the Pastard stories will realize that it really was a bad situation for me. Plus my blood pressure has dropped back down to normal which was a total surprise to me.;) I'll have you know though, my old pastor keeps emailing me several times a week. I'm considering putting a block on him.:D

I used to have "sad Sunday" (that dreadful feeling on Sunday when you realize you have to go back to work Monday) until I started the job I have now. I am not surprised your blood pressure has gone down. After changing jobs, everything in my life seemed different (even the parts that stayed the same).

I'm thrilled your new job is working out so well for you. That was so nice of the parishonersto let you know how much they like you. It really shows what a nice church you're working for now.
...I'm not looking to brag here,...
I didn't think you were bragging. :) I'm glad you shared with us.
